Rescue Organizations: Find Volunteers!

How We Work

Hope Animal Network is a matchmaking service for volunteers and organizations that sponsor animal welfare initiatives in developing countries.

We curate specific project requests from organizations in our membership and promote these opportunities to our broad volunteer network, and in many cases, to specific individuals.

Our volunteers help members with a variety of projects, from branding and logo design, to website development, marketing strategy & communications, grant writing, social media campaign development, “on the ground” help with spay and neuter clinics, and much more.

Organizations in need of assistance are encouraged to apply for membership in Hope Animal Network (there is no cost—we just want to get to know you better). Our team will review the brief application, and once it is approved, you will be eligible to submit a request for assistance, which will then be sent to our broad volunteer network.

Getting Started

Eligible members are organizations of any size that demonstrate a commitment to positively impacting animal welfare in developing countries through spay and neuter initiatives, animal rescue, adoptions, vaccination campaigns, non-surgical sterilization, transportation and resource coordination, public relations, humane euthanasia, education, political lobbying, and similar focus areas.

Applicants and members of Hope Animal Network are not required to be designated as a 501(c)3 or any other corporate entity.

Our team reviews all applications (they’re brief—we just want to get to know you better and make sure our goals are aligned). Once your membership is approved, you are eligible to submit a request for assistance, which will be sent to volunteers in Hope Animal Network. On a case-by-case basis, Hope Animal Network will contact specific volunteers with skill sets that parallel individual volunteer requests.

Hope Animal Network volunteers will contact animal welfare organizations in need of assistance (not the other way around). The nature of the volunteer requests should be on a project-by-project basis, not requests for long-term assignments (however, long-term relationships have been known to develop organically).
