Why Volunteer?
Because animal welfare organizations—and the animals they support—desperately need your help!
Our volunteers are able to lend a hand—even from thousands of miles away, and with limited free time—because they are able to choose projects based on their availability, without the need for long-term commitments.
The vast majority of animal welfare organizations in developing countries are tragically under-funded, leaving little time or resources for achieving their altruistic goals. Because so much of their work is focused on the “day to day” of saving animals, there is often no time to work on critical components for keeping their organizations (and the animals they support) alive and kicking.
Our volunteers are able to contribute in meaningful ways by picking up ad hoc projects such as developing marketing communications, business consulting, website and graphic design, letter writing and so much more. Many of the volunteers in our network are professionals with demanding, full-time careers. Hope Animal Network makes it possible to volunteer for a variety of select projects from our member organizations on an “as-needed” and “when available” basis. And most volunteer requests can be completed remotely!
How to Volunteer (It’s Easy)
Our volunteers come in all shapes and sizes—from stay at home moms to marketing directors, from teens to seniors, and from Internet gurus to dog-whisperers. We appreciate and encourage everyone who wants to lend a hand!
The first step is to complete a quick profile. This let’s us learn a little more about you, your interests and experience.
After you’ve joined Hope Animal Network, we’ll email you directly only when volunteer opportunities that specifically match your interest areas and skill set arise. If you see a volunteer opportunity that you’re interested in, simply contact the sponsoring member organization for more information (we will never give your information to member organizations, or anyone else for that matter!).
